paper towels

I have been giving them some thought.

I usually buy Kirkland brand because they're cheaper than Bounty at Costco. Perhaps you've noticed that Kirkland paper towels are perforated in huge sheets whereas the Bounty paper towels offer the "half-sheet" perforation.

My question to you is: does the Bounty roll of "half-sheet" perforated paper towels last longer than the Kirkland "full-sheet" perforated ones because you are ripping a smaller towel with each use?

My second question to you is: do you even care?

In case you do care (or are extremely bored), I have devised a little paper towel experiment. I have one roll of Kirkland paper towels left but purchased Bounty paper towels on my last Costco run. I started the Kirkland paper towels on 4/12 (I wrote it on the calendar). I'm gonna find out which is really the better deal.

I know you are all just dying with excitement about this. I will be sure to post the outcome.

ew yuck yuck yuck

and no thanks to you, tall people.

I spied the top of my little shelf in my kitchen. The one that's just above eye level- well my eye level. What I found was pretty disgusting. Dusty and disgusting.

Quinn, if you read this blog, you are 6'2" (a full foot taller than myself). Could you have clued me in on how disgusting that shelf looked?

If you are taller than me (pretty sure you are) and have visited my house and saw my shelf- I'm sorry.

Next stop- the top of the fridge, range hood, door jams....

oh yes, the blog

what the heck's been goin on?

well...

the water main broke. LAME. Especially for Quinn who jackhammered for 8 hours straight (with the help of my pops- THANKS DAD).

Eli is adorable and adored. He is such a funny little baby.

Forr had his first soccer game. It was very....interesting. He has some smack-talking issues he needs to work out before the next game. We'll just leave it at that.

Is there anything sweeter than a daddy and his daughter? I think not.
